State police responded to an altercation where one man was hit by a car and another brandished an axe in Parker, Armstrong County, according to a recent news release.

Police said Jacob Trufley, 31, and Kevin Burrows, 36, both of Parker, were involved in an argument that escalated the evening of Feb. 19.

Documents show Burrows threw rocks at Trufley’s vehicle as he and a passenger, John Fox, 32, of Butler, tried to leave a residence on Washington Street. Police said Trufley then hit Burrows with his vehicle.

According to troopers, Burrows then retrieved an axe and chased Trufley’s vehicle as it was leaving, swinging at it and damaging windows.
