Lottery ticket worth $100K sold in Butler County

The Pennsylvania Lottery

A lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a Butler gas station on Monday.

The winning Powerball with Power Play ticket was sold by University Korner, 1125 N. Main St. Extension, Butler Township, which will earn a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 7-23-24-56-60, and the red Powerball 25 to win $100,000. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
