Miller Minutes
This weekend is Mother’s Day. I have put a little bit of thought into what I might gift to my mom that is unconventional, and I thought this Miller Minutes could be dedicated to thinking of some ideas.
I came up with this idea because everyone seems to buy flowers in recognition of Mother’s Day. They are beautiful, but if you talk to my mom, she will tell you there are better gifts because flowers don’t last forever.
I tried to think outside the box. These suggestions could be gifted to any mom you know.
Most mothers I have met want someone to make them dinner and clean it up or buy them dinner out somewhere. The cleaning up bit is very important; they seem to dislike doing that.
Like most people, moms have something they like to reach for when they’ve had a hard day. Sometimes its chocolate, sometimes its coffee, sometimes its chips or gummy worms. Whatever their sweet tooth desires, you can give it to them to stash away for the next hard day.
Lastly, I have found that many moms like to go out on the town with their friends or their kids. Remember, moms are people too. They like to have fun! If your mom has a hobby or has always talked about going somewhere, maybe this Mother’s Day is the time to give them that!
