Hit and run crash in Concord Township being investigated
State police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday, May 6, on Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township.
Police said the crash happened just after noon near Rolling Ridge Drive.
Documents showed Martha D. Best, 76, of Parker, was driving a Jeep Renegade when an unknown vehicle attempted to pass her in a no-passing zone.
The unknown vehicle drove into the oncoming lane of travel when another vehicle was coming, police said. The vehicle then moved back into the right lane, rear-ending Best’s vehicle in the process, documents showed.
When the oncoming lane was clear, the vehicle completed the pass and fled the scene, according to police.
Police said the vehicle could have been a white or silver Honda or Hyundai with heavy front end damage and a missing or broken bumper cover. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Butler barracks at 724-284-8100.
