Man, woman hospitalized after Adams Township shooting
A 48-year old man and a 48-year-old woman are hospitalized at Allegheny General Hospital after a shooting in Adams Township on Saturday, May 11, police confirmed Saturday evening.
Sgt. Edward Lenz of the Adams Township Police Department said authorities responded to a residence on Presidential Lane shortly before 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Lenz said the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic dispute, and is suspected to be an attempted murder-suicide.
Police believe the man to be in critical condition, and the woman in stable condition.
Lenz said he expects charges to be filed against the man. As of 9:50 p.m., Lenz said authorities were at the hospital conducting interviews. The case is still under investigation.
