A Leechburg woman was found dead in her Armstrong County home following a house fire Tuesday morning, May 14, according to the Armstrong County coroner’s office.

Betty Bail, 60, was found in her kitchen at 327 Logan Ave., where a fire was reported around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

There are no signs of foul play, according to the coroner’s office.

Bail’s body will undergo an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by police and the state fire marshal.
