A resident of Connoquenessing Township has been seeing three bear cubs and their mother visit his home about every eight days this spring, which raid the bird feeders outside his home.

The size of the cubs suggest they were born last year, because they are big enough to stand on their hind legs and they bend the hooks keeping up the bird feeders, according to the resident.

The resident most recently caught the bear family Wednesday night, May 15, again going after the feeders in his yard.
