Sentence court
The following defendants were sentenced Thursday, May 16 in Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy McCune.
Nadine Ndayishimiye, 33, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to concurrently serve two terms of 11 1/2 months to 23 months in prison, but was immediately paroled, after pleading guilty to prohibited possession of a firearm and promoting prostitution charges filed by Cranberry Township police following a June 18, 2021, incident.
Zachary R. Kraus, 24, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including seven days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete litter pick up and 25 hours of community service after pleading guilty to driving under the influence, his second DUI offense, filed by Slippery Rock police following an Aug. 27 incident.
Ted E. Divers, 39, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete litter pick up and 20 hours of community service after pleading guilty to DUI of a controlled substance filed by Butler City police following a July 17, 2020, incident.
Bella R. Burk, 25, of Grove City, was sentenced to serve 12 months to 23 months and 29 days in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 12 months on house arrest, 60 months of probation, pay fines totaling $600 and pay $120 in restitution after pleading guilty to felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass filed in two cases in January 2023 by Butler City police.
Courtney R. Rhoton, 34, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 11 months and six days of probation after pleading guilty to a possession of drug paraphernalia charge filed by state police following a Feb. 24, 2022, incident in Prospect.
Samantha B. Bish, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation after pleading guilty to a possession of drug paraphernalia charge filed by state police following a March 22, 2022, incident in Penn Township.
Gavin L. Friend, 33, of Freedom, was sentenced to serve six months to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled after pleading guilty to a conspiracy to commit retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following an April 4, 2023, incident.
Constantin Arghir, 25, was given a prison sentence of time served to 23 months and fined $500 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit retail theft and retail theft charges filed by Cranberry Township police following a Jan. 21 incident.
Laura M.R. Kipp, 38, of Lawrenceville, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, pay a $100 fine and pay $7,114 in restitution to U-Haul after pleading guilty to a theft charge filed by state police following an Oct. 18, 2021, incident in Connoquenessing Township.
Tori A. Corosu, 36, of Home, was fined $500 after pleading guilty to a statement under penalty charge filed by state police following a Nov. 6, 2021, incident in Center Township.
Nicholas A. Foster, 39, of Prospect, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including six months of house arrest, pay fines totaling $1,600 and complete litter pick up and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to DUI of drugs, her second DUI offense, and disorderly conduct charges filed by state police following a Dec. 8 incident in Prospect.
Tanya M. Johnston, 35, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 30 days to 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve six months of probation and pay restitution totaling $108 to Sheetz after pleading guilty to two retail theft charges filed by Butler Township police following incidents on March 14, 2023 and May 25, 2023.
Nathaniel T. Reges, 24, of Butler was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay a $300 fine and complete litter pick up and 10 hours of community service after pleading to a DUI charge filed by state police following a May 28, 2022, incident, in Butler.
Stephanie M. O’Malley, 29, of Mars, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $500 and complete litter pick up and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to her second DUI offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft charges filed by Adams Township police following a Dec. 17 incident.
Harlie Jo M. Bowers, 27, of Waterford, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and complete 10 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a conspiracy to commit retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following a Jan. 2, 2022, incident.
Cameron M. Hughes, 21, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation including 45 days of house arrest and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a conspiracy to commit retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following a Dec. 13 incident.
Melva L. Vantine Schurer, 46, of Valencia, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $2,500 and complete litter pick up and 80 hours of community service after pleading guilty to her first and second DUI offenses filed by Middlesex Township police following a March 30, 2022, incident and state police following a Dec. 17 incident in Center Township.
Shana M. Hoy, 24, of Butler, was sentenced to concurrently serve two terms of 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child and conspiracy to commit theft filed by Butler City police following incidents in February and May of 2022.
