TF Rocketman rallies for Slippery Rock’s Brown

WASHINGTON —TF Rocketman rallied wide through the stretch to score for Slippery Rock’s “Downtown” Brady Brown in Saturday action at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 4-year-old gelding captured an $8,500 Claiming Pace in a career-best 1:53.4.

Brown added a second win when he teamed with trainer Steve Schoeffel of Evans City for a victory with Open Bar. The 4-year-old gelding vaulted over $100,000 in career earnings when he took a $7,800 Conditioned Trot in 1:55.3. Kathy Schoeffel and Marian Schilling, both of Evans City, own Open Bar along with Daniel Goehle.
