Meridian Road partially reopens after landslide repair project
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation on Friday, May 24, said a portion of Meridian Road in Penn Township between Railroad Street and Smith Road was set to reopen to traffic at 5 p.m. Friday.
Meridian Road had been closed since late April to accommodate efforts to repair damage from a landslide which occurred in November 2022. The project involved constructing a new road and removing a portion of the hillside.
Allison Park Contracting of Gibsonia completed the project at a cost of $685,000.
