The Glade Run Lake Conservancy held a community clean-up day for the eponymous lake in Middlesex Township on May 19.

During this event, volunteers repaired a wooden bridge, added landscaping around bench areas, and removed invasive plant species. According to the Conservancy, volunteers ranged in age from 11 to 72, and numbered “over two dozen.”

Stick City Brewing Company and Private Lands sponsored the event. After the work was done, Stick City offered some of their custom-made beers as a reward for a job well done.
