Rivers

Jeffrey James Rivers, 35, of Lyndora, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

He was born in Greensville, S.C., on Dec. 19, 1988, to Lisa (Clark) Walbert and the late Jeffrey J. Rivers.

Jeffrey enjoyed working at Treesdale and doing landscaping. He was known for being kind and finding pleasure in helping others and was passionate about sharing his artistic abilities with his children. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his children, riding dirt bikes, fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved building model ships out of wood.

He was the father of Kolden and Stefan Rivers; brother of John (Nikki) Walbert, Joseph (Sierra) DuBois, Joshua Walbert and Jacob Rivers; and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Lee Rivers.

RIVERS — Family and friends of Jeffrey James Rivers, who died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Entombment will be held privately.
