After learning about refugees, Anne Frank, the Holocaust and World War II, sixth-grade students at Haine Middle School showcased related projects during a gallery walk on Monday, June 3.

As part of the unit, students read historical fiction novels based on the Holocaust, participated in a Zoom meeting and virtual tour of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, created 3D scaled models of the Anne Frank House, and took part in a community service project in conjunction with Jewish Family and Community Services.

Parents and guests were able to visit the gallery Monday morning before students and teachers toured the projects.
