Ann Marie Johns, 59, of Parker, Perry Township, Armstrong County, passed away peacefully at home while in the company of her loving family Sunday morning, June 2, 2024.

Ann was born in Butler on Jan. 19, 1965. She was the daughter of Janet McElroy McCrea of East Brady and the late R. Howard McCrea.

Ann was a 1982 graduate of East Brady High School and Lenape Technical School. She had been employed for nearly 40 years as a legal administrative specialist at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.

She enjoyed flowers, gardening, reading, sewing, the company of her dogs, Cooper and Beau, and most especially looked forward to spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her mother, Ann is survived by her husband, Dean D. Johns, whom she married at St. Paul Church in Sugarcreek Township on May 11, 1985. Also surviving are five daughters, Tiffany M. Green and her husband, Justin, of Chicora, Nicolle C. Johns (Corey Harris) of Karns City, and Brianna S. McCullough and her husband, Cody, Kaylin H. Garing and her husband, William, and Lindsay A. Johns (Nicholas Schill), all of East Brady; her grandchildren, Ezra L. and Finn W. Green and Banks D. McCullough; a stepgrandson, Colt Harris; two brothers, Richard E. McCrea of East Brady and William L. McCrea and his wife, Trina, of Chicora; a sister, Susan I. McCrea of Butler; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

JOHNS — Friends of Ann Marie Johns, who died Sunday, June 2, 2024, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 22, at HILE FUNERAL HOME OF CHICORA, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Chicora. A memorial service will follow at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Shimmons, pastor of Grace Community Church, Curllsville, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County.
