Police: Woman arrested for driving under the influence
A woman was arrested and traffic briefly rerouted after an altercation between two motorists on the 400 block of Fairview Avenue in Butler, near the intersection with Morton Avenue shortly before 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.
State police said Ray Droney, of Protech Asphalt Paving, was flagging motorists on Fairview Avenue and rerouting traffic due to nearby construction when he said he witnessed the woman throw a bottle of water at the car in front of her, leading to a verbal altercation in which the woman exited her vehicle. Both motorists were traveling north.
