The Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School commencement was held at 7 p.m. May 31 in the school auditorium.

Student speakers were Sammie Smith and Catherine Kelly.

Sammie Smith

ANGELA MCTIGHE

■ Sammie is the daughter of Craig and Stephanie Smith, of West Sunbury. She was a member of the National Honor Society, math center, writing center, Spanish Club, varsity golf team, and was a competitive and football cheerleader.

She plans to attend Grove City College to pursue a pre-med major before moving on to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Catherine Kelly

■ Catherine is the daughter of Staci and Al Kelly, of Butler. She was a member of student council, National Honor Society, president of Spanish Club, vice president of the Writing Center, editor of the yearbook and the varsity girls basketball team.

She plans to attend Thiel College to major in exercise science, where she hopes to continue her basketball career by playing for the Tomcats.

Class officers are Brock Beachem, president; Taylor Voloch, vice president; Abigail Jewart, treasurer; and Taylor Voloch, secretary.
