Portersville Christian School
The Portersville Christian School commencement was held at 10 a.m. June 1 at the school.
Commencement speakers were valedictorian Selah Hope Charles and salutatorian Naomi du Toit.
Selah is the daughter of Paul and Kristin Charles, of Cranberry Township. She was senior class secretary, a member of the National Honor Society and the volleyball team, and participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year program.
She plans to attend Houghton University as a pre-physical therapy major.
Naomi is the daughter of Roelof and Anrea du Toit, of Portersville. She was senior class treasurer, yearbook editor-in-chief, varsity basketball manager, musical stage manager, member of the National Honor Society and volleyball team, and participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year program.
She plans to attend Geneva College as a biology major.
