Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon, June 8, according to Butler Township police.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Evans City Road and South Benbrook Road, according to a news release.

Police said a vehicle driven by Gary Burk, 50, of Chicora, struck a motorcycle driven by Mark Matz, 54, of Saxonburg, and a passenger.

Matz and the passenger were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries, according to police.
