Portion of Ekastown Road closed due to pedestrian, vehicle crash
Traffic is being diverted from the 700 block of Ekastown Road in Buffalo Township after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Wednesday, June 19, according to county dispatchers.
The crash occurred around 8:19 a.m. Wednesday.
Dispatchers said Ekastown Road is now closed between Coal Hollow Road and Sarver Road as crews respond.
The initial dispatch indicated a pedestrian suffered a leg fracture from the crash.
Buffalo Township police and volunteer fire company, Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and EMS were requested to respond.
