David Roenigk

David L. Roenigk, 62, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, as the result of a tragic accident, while doing what he loved.

Born Sept. 16, 1961, in Butler, he was the son of William L. Roenigk and Jeanne Korbeck Roenigk.

Dave was part owner of W.L. Roenigk Inc., where he drove trucks and school buses, and he was the farmer of the family. He enjoyed gardening, farming, music, the Pirates and, especially, spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Matthew David (Michaela) Roenigk of Sarver and Joseph A. Roenigk of Natrona Heights; his mother, Jeanne Korbeck Roenigk of Sarver; the mother of his children, Michelle Roenigk of Natrona Heights; four grandchildren, Lane, Blake, Grant and Willa; and his siblings, Richard Keville of Texas, Barb Myers of Sarver, Butch Furer of Pennsylvania, Patricia (Alan Kirk) Roenigk of State College, Susan Roenigk of Natrona Heights, Michael (Hope) Roenigk of Sarver, Andrew (Maryellen) Roenigk of Sarver and Nancy (Rich) Stewart of Sarver.

He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Roenigk; and three brothers, William L. Roenigk Jr., Robert A. Roenigk and Fred Keville.

ROENIGK — Friends of David L. Roenigk, who died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dave Roddy officiating.
