1 killed in Slippery Rock Township crash Saturday
A Harrisville man died in a vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, June 22, in Slippery Rock Township, officials said Monday.
The Butler County Coroner’s office said Kaden Broadus, 21, died in the crash. The cause and manner of death were not released pending notification of his family.
Crews were requested to respond around 3:20 p.m. Saturday for a report of the crash, which occurred near 708 Franklin Road, according to county emergency dispatch reports.
Officials said Franklin Road was closed as state police investigated. Crews were on scene for more than two hours, according to reports.
Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company, Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and EMS assisted at the scene.
