Darlene Rebecca “Becky” Tomson, 72, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Canterbury Place Lawrenceville, surrounded by her loved ones.

Becky lived most of her life in Brackenridge and Natrona Heights, and was an accountant for Tomson Scrap Metal in Brackenridge as well as office manager for the former Chrapp Ford.

She was a graduate of Duffs Business Institute, and she enjoyed Standardbred horses and working at Lernerville Speedway. Becky especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Becky is survived by her husband of 50 years, Theodore A. “Ted” Tomson; sons, Theodore A. “Ted” Tomson II of Natrona Heights and Ryan A. “Rubus” Tomson of Boggsville; grandson, Tristan “Wulfi” Thomson; and granddaughter, Eloise Josephine. She also is survived by sisters, Carmen (James) Kaminski of Natrona Heights and Billie Rae (Ronald) Unik of Springdale.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Albert Junge and mother Della A. (Beigay) Junge; brother, William Swanger; and sister, Barbara Stivenson.

TOMSON — Visitation for Darlene Rebecca “Becky” Tomson, who died Sunday, June 23, 2024, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum. The Parastas will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with her brother-in-law, the Very Rev. Mitered Archpriest, Father Timothy J. Tomson, officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
