Commissioners recognize National Dairy Month

The county commissioners presented members of the Dairy Royalty Count with a proclamation Wednesday recognizing June as National Dairy Month.
The proclamation says the dairy industry has a $6 million annual impact on the county economy even though the number of dairy farms has decreased from 369 to 23.
This is the 50th year the Butler County Dairy promotion team has named a Dairy Royalty Court to help promote the industry.
