William Rynkiewicz

Rynkiewicz

William J. Rynkiewicz, 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away early morning, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his home, in Zelienople.

Born July 25, 1946, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, William “Bill” was the son of the late Felix and Madge (Caruth) Rynkiewicz.

Having served his country as a specialist fourth class (SP4) in the U.S. Army, Bill was proud to be a veteran. After retiring from the Burger King Corporation at age 65, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, helping his family and friends, Steelers football, and taking walks in the park with his loving wife and best friend of 58 years, Sandra J. (McLaughlin) Rynkiewicz.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, David Rynkiewicz and his wife, Lynne; Daniel Rynkiewicz and his wife, Judy; Tammy (Rynkiewicz) Khaleque and her husband, Tareque; Lori (Rynkiewicz) Rieger and her husband, John; and Heather (Rynkiewicz) Bhowmik and her husband, Susanta, to enter eternal rest with his late son, William J. Rynkiewicz Jr.

Bill was a beloved “pap pap” to Eli Rynkiewicz, Sophia Khaleque, Sebastian Khaleque, Shane Khaleque, Alexa Rieger, John Rieger III, Ross Rieger and Troy Bhowmik. He treasured his grandchildren deeply and always had a way to make them laugh.
