Bonnie Gale Robinson Hall, 83, of Slippery Rock, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by loving family after valiantly battling leukemia.

Bonnie was born Dec. 6, 1940, in Saxonburg, to Maude Elizabeth (Leslie) and John William Robinson.

A 1957 graduate of Winfield High School, Cabot, Bonnie was always proud of skipping the third grade and becoming one of the youngest in her graduating class.

After graduation, Bonnie was married for a short time to her high school sweetheart, Ralph Allan Hall, before marrying Richard Byron Foust, with whom she had two children, Jana and Rich. During the 1980s, Bonnie and her husband owned Olykoeck Donut shoppes in Saxonburg and Penn Township.

On Oct. 24, 1985, Bonnie remarried Ralph Hall and they have spent the last 30-plus years living in Slippery Rock attending St. Peter Catholic Church, where she was a cantor for over 20 years. In 2000, Bonnie retired as a postmaster serving Yatesboro, Rimersburg and West Sunbury post offices. After retirement, Bonnie loved spending her free time with her family members and close friends. She and Ralph enjoyed joining friends, Jack and Patti Covert, and together they sang at various churches in the greater community.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Hall; siblings, Mona McCowin of Biloxi, Miss., and Eric (Darlene) Robinson of Kittanning; siblings-in-law, Carol Wagner of Butler, Donna Hall of Sarver, Glenn (Carol) Hall of Chicora, Roger Hall and Linda Fellers of Slippery Rock and Roland (Sharon) Hall of Cabot; children, Jana (Scott) Bruce of Jonesboro, Ark., Rich (Lori) Foust of Panama City, Fla., and Tammy (Mark) Terrell of Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandchildren, Patrick (Tori) Bruce, Allison Bruce, Jonathan Foust, Madison Foust, Victoria Foust, Lauren Pinkerton (Daniel Mackiewicz), Reid (Jennifer) Lentz, Megan Bunke, Matthew (Ashlee) Terrell and Nathan (Kayleigh) Terrell; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and John Robinson; siblings, Betty (Rex) Fitzpatrick, John Robinson and Paul McCowin; and siblings-in-law, Jean Snow Barger, Steve Hall, Dick Wagner and Peggy Hall.

HALL — Visitation for Bonnie Gale Robinson Hall, who died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock. Following the Mass, a funeral dinner will be shared in the social hall.
