Carol Elaine Henry, 71, of Butler, formerly of Prospect, died Friday morning, June 28, 2024, at her residence after an illness.

Carol was born in Butler on May 23,1953, and was the daughter of Richard and Martha Fisher Kemper.

She was a 1971 graduate of Slippery Rock Area High School. She retired from Walmart as an invoice clerk after 20 years of service. Carol was an avid bowler and a member of the Saturday Night Lollers Bowling League and the Monda Buds Bowling League. She also loved dachshunds.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene C. Henry, whom she married May 16,1980; one brother, Regis (Diane) Kemper of Prospect; and her two nephews, Jarod (Jamie) Kemper and Barry (Amy) Kemper.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

HENRY — Visitation for Carol Elaine Henry, who died Friday, June 28, 2024, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason Sinagra, of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, officiating.

Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park in Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to the Butler County Humane Society.
