Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 3 — Benjamin W. Roberts, 40, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI, false identification, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and six summary violations after police stopped him April 23 for having a cracked windshield and crossing the centerline of Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and he refused to submit to a blood test.
June 3 — Trente J. McBride Richards, 18, of Hermitage, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI and a summary violation after borough police encountered him in a vehicle with several other people in a convenience store parking lot and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the car. Police said a field test and other clues indicated he had been drinking, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content was 0.108%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 4 — Judah G. Sliker, 45, of Tionesta, was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor strangulation and simple assault, and summary harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he shoved a woman and squeezed her neck until she couldn’t breathe.
June 5 — Davion T. Salters, 23, of Butler, was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault charges. Police said he punched another man and then stomped on and kicked him in the head during a fight on May 17.
June 5 — Jayla L. White, 18, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said she slammed a juvenile female to the ground.
June 5 — Erin C. Torres, 35, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking. Police said she took $91 from another woman’s purse and fled on May 2.
