Butler Colt

A seven-run fifth inning helped Butler to a 14-1 Colt baseball victory over Highlands at Pullman Park on Monday.

Levi McClellan tripled and drove in three runs while Ryan Rattigan singled twice and scored twice. Curtis Kuntz and Jake Szebalskie both had two hits.

The victors drew seven walks and stole six bases.

Joe Porneluzi was Butler’s starting pitcher, allowing one run on two hits in four innings while striking out five and walking three. Nash Cuffman tossed one scoreless inning of relief for Butler.

Butler Colt faces Seneca Valley North at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Pullman Park.
