Frank Lamm
Frank W. Lamm, 89, of New Sewickley Township, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, while under the care of UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Born on Oct. 7, 1934, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frank B. and Josephine (Knaus) Lamm.
Frank graduated in 1956 from Duquesne University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. He was a former choir director at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Zelienople for 40 years, where he also was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. Frank owned and operated the Zelienople Restaurant with his wife for 25 years. He then retired from ADP after 15 years of service. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Elizabeth (Funk) Lamm, whom he married on Nov. 26, 1959; his children, Dr. Frank R. Lamm (Jennifer) of Montana, David E. Lamm, Esq., of Adams Township, Donna E. Notte (Dr. Michael) of Sewickley and Eric J. Lamm (Lisa) of Adams Township; his 13 grandchildren, Andrew, Caylee, Ella, Lydia, Catherine, Joseph, Hanna, Christian, Nicholas, Sophia, Maxwell, Talia and Chase; and his five great-grandchildren, Johanna, Cecelia, Katerina, Anthony and Sylvan.
LAMM — A Mass of Christian burial for Frank W. Lamm, who died Saturday, June 29, 2024, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. Friends please meet at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s honor to the Wills Eye Hospital, 840 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19107, or to a charity of donor’s choice.
Frank will be laid to rest with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
Arrangements have been entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
