Pennsylvania Mountains Care Network and ACMH Hospital affiliation official
An affiliation agreement between ACMH Hospital and Pennsylvania Mountains Care Network became official Monday, July 1, the hospitals announced.
With the affiliation, ACMH joins Indiana Regional Medical Center and Punxsutawney Area Hospital in the network, which was formed in 2015.
PMCN will oversee its rural hospital affiliates with an integrated governance and executive management team that represents the common interests of the various communities served by the hospitals, according to a news release.
“We are thrilled to join forces with PMCN,” said ACMH president and CEO Nichole Geraci. “This partnership not only strengthens our ability to provide high-quality care to our patients but also reinforces our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in health care delivery.”
The collaboration between hospitals in this network will benefit from clinical, technological and administrative resources, she said.
As part of the agreement, ACMH will retain its local identity and continue to operate as a separately licensed community hospital, retaining all of its own employees and medical staff.
