Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 2 — Sharon M. Biedenbach, 62, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and two summary violations following a traffic stop on Route 228.
June 4 — Alice E. Cole, 32, of McKees Rocks, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft. Police said Cole left Walmart with $269 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
June 7 — Raymont A. Cathie, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he struck someone in the head with a house plant.
June 9 — Raymond T. Levy, 46, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felonies retail theft and receiving stolen property. Police said he took $400 in merchandise from Best Buy on June 8.
June 3 — Andrew R. Beebe, 37, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a vehicle crash in the area of Franklin and Peters roads. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.134%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 10 — John C. Ekiert, 44, of White Oak, was charged with felony retail theft. Police said he took $1,468 in merchandise from Home Depot.
June 7 — Joshua W. Metz, 44, of Butler, was charged with one count of felony theft and seven counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said on May 15 he stole a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck owned by Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Retreat Center and made $699 in unauthorized purchases on the center’s credit cards.
June 9 — Joshua A. Priatko, 36, of East Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone in the face.
May 31 — Heather M. Plonski, 47, of Harmony, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI and three summary violations following a traffic stop on West New Castle Street. Police said her blood alcohol content was .185%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 5 — Jennifer C. McKnight, 53, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and a summary violation following a traffic stop on East Grandview Avenue. Police said her blood alcohol content was .097%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 10 — Steven D. Hopkins, 64, of Industry, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and a summary violation after the vehicle he was driving struck a porch of a home in the area of West Grandview avenue and North Clay Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed THC in his system.
