Andrew Charles Shaffer, 58, of West Liberty passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

He was born in Binghamton, N.Y. on July 9, 1965, and was the son to James Alvin Shaffer and Beverly J. Shaffer.

He was a certified nurseryman. Andrew, along with wife Christine grew asparagus on their local farm and were commercial suppliers for many local grocery stores. “He had the heart of a farmer and was happiest on his Farmall.”

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Christine at home; daughter, Jeanne Shaffer; grandson, Oakley Ferguson; his mother, Beverly; and two brothers all of Connecticut.

He is preceded in death by his father.

SHAFFER — There will be no public services for Andrew Charles Shaffer, who died Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
