PennDOT plans weekly maintenance work

The state Department of Transportation is planning maintenance work in the county this week.

The work includes shoulder cutting on Route 8 in Slippery Rock and Mercer townships, Halston Road in Brady and Clay townships and Kiester Road in Slippery Rock and Cherry townships.

Patching is planned on Route 308 in Marion and Venango townships and Route 138 in Clay Township.

Drainage work will happen on Herman Road in Summit Township and Butler Road in Jefferson Township.

Seal coating is planned on Meridian Road and Route 8 in Butler Township, and deck repair will happen on Lindsey Road in Jackson Township.

Mowing is planned along Freeport Road in Summit Township, Mars Crider Road in Cranberry Township, Evans City Road in Forward Township, Prospect Road in Franklin Township, Pittsburgh Street in Middlesex Township and Eau Claire Road in Marion Township.
