Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 25 — Deontre J. Gaskins, 26, and Austin M. Reeder, 24, both of Fredericksburg, Va., were charged with two felony counts of theft and one count of receiving stolen property. Police said he stole an all-terrain vehicle from Virginia and traded it to a Saxonburg man for $2,200 and a motorcycle.
June 11 — Rihn A. Nolan, 41, of Butler was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after he was pulled over April 30 on Route 8 in Middlesex Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.247%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 12 — Shaun Sheakley, 45, of Karns City was charged with felony false written statement and misdemeanor statement under penalty. Police said he incorrectly filled out a gun purchase form on March 28 at a sporting goods store in Chicora.
June 12 — Antoine R. Pollard, 34, of Titusville was charged with misdemeanor defiant trespass and summary disorderly conduct. Police said he went to an East Butler home where he was not permitted to be on May 3, refused to leave and argued with the resident.
June 12 — John M. Aguirre, 22, of Butler was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and several summary violations following a May 12 traffic stop on Route 8 in Center Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed THC, amphetamine and methamphetamine in his system.
June 12 — Troy D. Lehnard, 33, of Butler was charged with misdemeanors simple assault and defiant trespass and two summary violations. Police said he entered a home on Cornetti Road in Clearfield Township that he was not permitted to enter on June 9 and assaulted a man.
June 13 — Dennis J. Crawford, 51, of Petrolia was charged with felonies theft and receiving stolen property. Police said he stole and tried to sell 34 used vehicle batteries.
June 13 — Joshua S. Wilson, 42, of West Sunbury was charged with misdemeanors possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found slumped over in a vehicle along Route 19 in Portersville on April 22.
June 18 — Anthony S. Branthoover, 32, of Grampian, Clearfield County, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and four summary violations after crashing his vehicle on Eau Claire Road in Marion Township on June 1. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.092%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 17 — James W. Noblit, 39, of West Sunbury was charged with two misdemeanor weapons violations and summary public drunkenness. Police said he was seen May 24 walking along Hall Road in Clay Township carrying a sword, .357-caliber revolver, bullets and five cans of beer, and showed signs of being intoxicated.
June 17 — Mark Jasmine, 75, of Sarver was charged with a felony firearms violation and misdemeanor statement under penalty. Police said he incorrectly filled out a firearms purchase form on April 21 at a sporting good store in Summit Township.
June 17 — Alfred A. Klein III, 66, of Harwick, Allegheny County, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI charges and three summary traffic violations following an April 20 traffic stop on Route 422 in Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system.
June 18 — Steve C. Rowe, 31, of Pittsburgh was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI and three summary violations following a May 17 incident at a Worth Township gas station. A breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .114%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 18 — Scott A. Whitmire, 46, of Petrolia was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary violations following a May 10 traffic stop on North Cedar Street in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of cocaine and methamphetamine in his system.
June 18 — Johnny R. Hillwig, 39, of Butler was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and two summary violations following a June 15 traffic stop on Chicora Road. Police said a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .162%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 19 — Larry D. Males, 45, of Butler was charged with misdemeanor prohibited possession of a firearm. Police said he admitted to having a handgun in his vehicle during a May 15 traffic stop in Butler Township, but he is not permitted to possess a firearm because he is the subject of a protection from abuse order.
June 19 — Joshua P. Luchkiw, 38, of Butler was charged with felony DUI and seven summary violations following a June 1 traffic stop on Pittsburgh Road in Butler Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment. The arrest was his third for DUI, police said.
June 19 — Joel S. Susano Jr., 35, of Smock, Fayette County, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two summary violations following a May 28 traffic stop on Route 8 in Butler Township. Police said a blood test showed traces of THC, amphetamine and methamphetamine in his system.
June 11 — McKenzie A. Sciarretti, 26, of Butler was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and a summary violation following a May 14 crash along McCalmont Road. Police said a blood test showed she had a blood alcohol content of .146%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 13 — Ariel S. Arblaster, 24, of Butler and Bradley J. Bender, 23, of Butler were charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident on Old Plank Road. Police said they found baggies containing methamphetamine and marijuana and drug paraphernalia after executing a search warrant at Arblaster’s home. Bender was found in possession of a glass pipe, police said.
June 19 — Mark C. Malone Jr., 44, of Braddock was charged with felonies forgery, access device fraud and attempted theft, and misdemeanor bad checks following a May 13 incident. Police said he forged a check from a lawn care company for $2,285 and attempted to cash it at a bank in Pittsburgh.
June 28 — Matthew J. Alexander, 41, of Chicora was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said he pointed a taser at two people in the GetGo parking lot on North Main Street Extension after an argument.
June 29 — Markie Cammisa, 22, of Parker was charged with retail theft. Police said he failed to pay for $361 in merchandise.
July 5 — Nicole A. Weltz, 45, of Slippery Rock was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving damage and two summary violations. Police said she rear ended a vehicle at Bon Aire Plaza on June 14 and left the scene.
June 18 — Aiden C. Moffa, 20, of Gibsonia was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and three summary violations following a May 26 crash on Treesdale Drive. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.78%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
June 17 — David G. Barthel, 60, of Sarver was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary disorderly conduct following a June 16 incident at home on Ronald Drive. Police said he caused a minor injury to a woman’s finger during an argument.
June 17 — Michael P. Lang, 54, of Butler was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 15 incident. Police said he struck a woman causing her to fall and suffer a scrape on her leg.
June 15 — Matthew J. Walker, 30, of Butler was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest and evading arrest. Police said he fled from officers who were dispatched to a report of an assault at the intersection of Center and Brown avenues.
June 13 — Abigail Lynn Carroll, 20, of Gibsonia was charged with misdemeanors false reports and unsworn falsification. Police said she claimed to have been sexually assaulted May 23.
This story was updated July 9, 2024 to reflect that Troy D. Lehnard, 33, assaulted a man, according to police. An earlier report indicated he had assaulted a woman.
