Patti and Michael Selfridge

Michael and Patti Selfridge, of Butler Township, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner on July 5.

Selfridge married the former Patti Bowen on July 5, 1974. They were married at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church in Jefferson Township by the Rev. John Hainey of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and the Rev. Earl Fouts.

They have two children, Stephen and Sarah.

The Selfridges also have two grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

Selfridge is retired from the Air Force and the Butler VA Medical Center.

Mrs. Selfridge retired from the circulation department at the Butler Eagle.
