A Cranberry Township resident was one of two men found dead in a swimming pool at a Pine Township, Allegheny County, home last week, according to officials.

The men were identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as William Miller, 57, of Cranberry Township, and Christopher Gebhardt, 63, of Pine Township.

According to Allegheny County Police, first responders found two adult males deceased in a pool after Northern Regional Police were dispatched for a welfare check at about 6:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4, in the 200 block of Whetherburn Drive in Pine Township.

The preliminary investigation shows no signs of foul play, police said.
