Butler Colt downs East Pittsburgh
Butler overcame an early three-run deficit in defeating East Pittsburgh 13-3 in Colt baseball action Monday at Pullman Park.
Jake Kollinger’s two-run double helped spark Butler to seven runs in the fourth inning.
Curtis Kuntz tripled, which aided Butler in tying the game at three in the second frame.
Jordan Vicari started on the mound for Butler before Ryan Rattigan pitched 3 1/3 innings in relief. The latter surrendered no runs on one hit while striking out seven and walking one.
Coltyn Povlick also pitched one inning of scoreless ball, striking out two and walking none, giving up one hit.
