“Alter Eagle,” an original Butler Eagle podcast, will feature Butler Mayor Bob Dandoy in a new episode dropping Monday, July 15.

Podcast host Laura Crago met Dandoy at downtown Butler’s Grand Ballroom to discuss Main Street and the city’s potential. The two talk about the businesses that have made an impact in town, including Cummings Coffee & Candy, Grows on Main, Cannella Cafe and Vintage Coffeehouse, and what it takes to open a business or create a new event.

They speak about the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, the Italian Festival, Foodie Fridays and how many events take place downtown, as well as housing and the need for a grocery store in the downtown area.

The title of the episode is “Leveraging History for Progress.” New episodes release Mondays and are available at alter-eagle.com and major streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
