The History and Renovation of the Foltz School House will be presented at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.

The quaint and recently restored one-room schoolhouse is near the Jennings Environmental Education Center property on Route 8 in Brady Township.

The school has a rich history dating back to the late 1800s. The school’s origins, role in the local community, and its operation will be presented.

No registration is required to attend.
