Schnur

Linda Schnur, 81, of Butler, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.

She was born in Wexford on Jan. 8, 1943, to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Leake) Haust.

Linda received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was employed as a teacher and was a business owner. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading and crafts, and was a member of the Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church choir. Linda was known for being hardworking, would always put others first, and was a loving mother and wife.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Dale E. Schnur, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1964; mother of Dale Schnur Jr., Christopher (Lynanne) Schnur, Tamara (Thomas) Netzel, Carrie (Steve) Shay, Richard Schnur and George Schnur; sister of Stephen Haust and Karen Larson; and grandmother to 15 grandchildren.

SCHNUR — All services and burial for Linda Schnur, who died Friday, July 5, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
