The 2024 Can-Am Games — a biennial event promoting physical fitness and camaraderie among emergency and protective services personnel, their agencies and families — will take place July 15-21 at 18 venues throughout Butler County.

The 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games have arrived in Butler County this summer, with police, firefighters and other first responders from Canada and the United States coming together to compete in multiple sports and disciplines in a week-long event.

The semi-annual competition, which is in Pennsylvania for the second time, includes everything from ice hockey to mountain biking to shooting and narcotics dog. It runs from July 15-21 at locations across Butler County.
