Voters in the Butler Township 2 precinct will find themselves casting their ballots in November on the border of Highfield and Lyndora.

The county commissioners voted at their meeting Wednesday, July 17, to move the precinct’s polling place from the General Butler Vagabonds Hall off Whitestown Road to American Legion Post 778 at the top of the hill in Lyndora off Kohler Avenue.

The commissioners were told officials from the Vagabonds Hall told the county Bureau of Elections they no longer wanted to be a polling place.

All voters in the Butler Township 2 precinct will be notified of the change by mail.
