District Judge O’Donnell’s office moves locations
District Judge Kevin O’Donnell and his staff now are operating out of their new location on Fairground Hill Road in Butler Township.
The judge for District 50-1-01 heard his first cases at the new courtroom on Wednesday, July 17. The staff moved in the prior Thursday.
The new office is located at 530 Fairground Hill in the former Friedman’s Fresh Market corporate office. The judge was formerly located at the Sunnyview Complex.
“It’s a nice upgrade,” said Kelly Michalek, the office’s administrative assistant. “The space was completely redone. There’s now more room for defendants to sit, to not be on top of each other.”
The office proactively sent alerts about the move with “everything we sent out,” Michalek said. There are also notices posted at the former office.
Complaints have been limited in number, she said.
The last hearing in the old space was held July 3. The move to the new location began July 9.
