70 years of service celebrated with a picnic

EAST BRADY—The East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) invites residents to mark their calendars for Saturday, Aug. 3 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. to attend a community picnic at the East Brady Riverfront Park celebrating the EBADC’s 70 years of service.

The picnic is rain or shine, free to the public, and is family friendly. Pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Park access is at the end of Waterway Lane. Attendees are urged to use caution as Waterway Lane is a shared road used by bicyclists and pedestrians. There is limited parking at Riverfront Park, but parking space is available at a large lot at the Verner Street treatment plant.

Food and refreshments such as hot dogs, mac and cheese, and cold drinks will be provided by the EBADC. Attendees are welcome to bring side dishes to share. Some activites planned include yard games, a presentation of Beautification awards, and music provided by DJ Chameleon. Picnic tables are available, but residents are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, etc.
