Braden Kent Campbell, 59, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home.

Born on July 6, 1965, in Eau Claire, Braden was the son of William Campbell and Nellie Crouch Campbell.

Braden had worked as a heavy equipment operator with operating engineers Local 66 and then for the past two years at Cleveland Cliffs. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at Post 243 in West Sunbury.

He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann (Wheeler) Campbell, whom he married on Sept. 5, 2015; stepchildren, Emily Reichelt of Jacksonville, Fla., Rhiannan Davenport-Ray and Maya Davenport-Ray, both of Butler; four sisters, Lynette Simpson (Randy) of Warren, Ohio, Connie Hillard (Ken) and Kimberly Campbell, both of Hilliards, Pa., and Diane Rudolph (Jim) of Parker; and one brother, John Boben (Margaret) of Spring, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nellie; father-in-law, John Wheeler; and nephew, Greg Bollinger.

CAMPBELL — A memorial celebration of life for Braden Kent Campbell, who died Thursday, July 18, 2024, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243, 1431 West Sunbury Road, West Sunbury.

Cremation services were entrusted to the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME in West Sunbury.
