CCR to host Group Crisis Intervention session on Thursday night

As part of their mental health response to the events of July 13, the Center for Community Resources is holding a Group Crisis Intervention at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Monarch Training Institute on Brugh Avenue.

Group Crisis Intervention is a group discussion which assists the individuals in processing the emotions they feel after experiencing a traumatic event such as the shooting that occurred at the rally for former President Donald Trump at the Butler Farm Show grounds. The process aims to establish the idea that those involved are not alone in what they have experienced and what they are feeling.

It is important to note, however, that Group Crisis Intervention is not therapy.
