Adams Twp

June 25 — Laurie A. Walters, 59, of Driftwood, Pa., was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to an April 22 vehicle crash. Police said Walters performed field sobriety tests, and a later blood test showed her blood-alcohol content at .109%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%

Butler Twp

June 24 — Dennis D. Lewis, 40, of Indiana, Pa., was charged with felony retail theft related to a June 21 investigation at Walmart. Police said Lewis stole electronics and clothing with a total value of $1,179.

Cranberry Twp

June 26 — Minghui Yuan, 38, of Flushing, N.Y., was charged with seven felonies, including forgery, possessing counterfeit materials and theft by deception, as well as misdemeanor false identification to police officers. Police said Yuan posed as someone else in order to request two cashiers checks with a combined value of $60,000 on June 21 from Univest Bank. Police said they encountered Yuan when he returned to the bank June 24, and, he gave them a false identification at the time.

June 21 — David M. Dolgas, 38, of Wexford, was charged with felony counts of retail theft and possessing stolen property related to a May 31 investigation. Police said Dolgas had been employed at Walmart and stole about $1,200 worth of electronics and other items over the course of a few months from the store.

June 20 — Juan M. Criolla Rivas, 28, unknown address, was charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft, possessing stolen property and conspiracy. Police said Criolla Rivas on June 9 acted as a driver for three people who allegedly stole more than $850 worth of makeup from Target.

June 20 — Timothy D. Peterson, 45, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a crash. Police said Peterson fled the scene of a June 14 vehicle crash near the intersection of Freedom Road and Route 19. Police said a short time later, they stopped him and conducted field sobriety tests. Police said Peterson showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.230%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State Police, Butler

June 24 — Kyle R. Wenzel, 28, of Renfrew, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI involving alcohol and drugs after a May 10 traffic stop on Beacon Road in Penn Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Wenzel was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.119%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%. Police said they also found cocaine in his wallet.

June 24 — Amy L. Bartlett, 49, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor defiant trespassing related to an April 15 investigation on Tower Road, Clinton Township. Police said Bartlett had driven onto a property without permission.

June 24 — Four men were each charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment following a June 10 investigation into stray bullets reaching Laura J. Doerr Memorial Park in Jefferson Township. Those charged include Nikolas M. Pflueger, 34, of Butler; Richard M. Morehouse, 35, of Sarver; Shayne A. Boyd, 35, of Butler; and Brandon J. McClain, 34, of Beaver Falls, Pa. Police said the men were target shooting in a back yard with an insufficient backstop, and they found multiple trees in the park damaged by bullets.

June 24 — Charity J. Martinez, 21, of Emlenton, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a May 29 incident at her ex-boyfriend’s home in Jefferson Township. Police said Martinez hit a woman multiple times to the head and body.

June 21 — Austin D. Blatt, 30, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one felony count of selling a gun to an ineligible buyer. Police said Blatt sold the gun to a person with a known criminal history.
