The descendants of Adam Rettig Sr. will gather for their 60th annual family reunion at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Rotary Shelter at Butler Memorial Park.

Those who attend are asked to bring an envelope containing $1 through $3 instead of a white elephant gift. Envelopes may be dropped into the box provided.

Attendees also should bring a well-filled picnic basket, table service and a tablecloth as well as gifts to be used as bingo prizes.

Meat and beverages will be provided. Bingo will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by adult and children’s games from 3 to 4 p.m.

Dinner will be served at 4 p.m., followed by a business meeting, prize giving and pulling the winning 50/50 raffle ticket.
