Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts.

State police, Butler

July 16 — A PennDOT vehicle truck driven by Lexi A. Doerflinger, 19, of Slippery Rock, struck a pickup truck in the parking lot Long John Silver’s in Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township. No injuries were reported.

July 9 — A vehicle driven by Brian C. Lenkerd, 53, of Reynoldsville, was struck by a rock allegedly thrown by another vehicle while they were traveling south on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. No injuries were reported. Police didn’t identify the driver of the other vehicle.

July 20 — A car traveling south on Interstate 79 in Worth Township traveled into the median when the driver began to fall asleep. No injuries were reported. Police didn’t identify the driver.

July 28 — A pickup truck driven by Devan W. Irvin, 28, of Johnstown, struck a guardrail along Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. No injuries were reported.

July 14 — A Chevrolet Silverado ran a red light at the intersection of North Pike and Winfield roads in Winfield Township and struck a Dodge Neon. The truck was towed. Police didn’t identify either driver.

Butler Township

July 26 — A vehicle driven by Sandra Greenert, 77, of Saxonburg, was traveling east on Greenwood Drive when it struck a northbound vehicle driven by Garrett Miller, 31, of Butler. Miller’s vehicle hit a guardrail, went airborne and landed in a ditch. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed.

July 26 — A car driven by Brendan Thomas, 31 of Butler, rear-ended a car driven by Melissa Sub, 62, of Butler, while both were traveling west on Route 68 near Barracks Road. No injuries were reported. Thomas’ vehicle was towed.
