Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Tuesday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Joseph Kubit.

Jacob D. Barnhouse, 25, of Greensburg, was sentenced to serve 30 days to 23 months and 15 days in jail, but was immediately paroled to serve the minimum balance of his sentence on house arrest, 24 months of probation and pay $200 in fines after pleading guilty to terroristic threats and simple assault charges filed by Butler police following a Nov. 4 incident.

Heaven L. Wonderling, 38, of Carnegie, was sentenced to serve 10 months of probation and pay a $150 fine after pleading guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed by Butler police following a Feb. 3, 2022, incident.

Thomas A. Meyrick Jr., 59, of Meadville, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation, including five months of house arrest, and pay a $150 fine after pleading guilty to a felony retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following a Sept. 3, 2023, incident.

Christopher A. Hughes, 42, of Renfrew, was sentenced to serve six to 12 months in jail, but was immediately paroled to serve 12 months of probation, pay a $100 fine and pay $7,196 in restitution to Donegal Insurance after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit theft charges filed by Penn Township police following a May 7, 2022, incident, and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by state police following a Jan. 12, 2022, incident in Connoquenessing Township.

Scott L. Gould, 51, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a statement under penalty charge filed by state police following a Nov. 2, 2021, incident in Center Township.

Jennifer L. Wallace, 47, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation and pay a $150 fine after pleading guilty to an endangering the welfare of children charge filed by state police following an Aug. 1, 2021, incident in Clay Township.

Scott E. Selfridge, 59, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $150 fine after pleading guilty to a statement under penalty charge filed by state police following a Dec. 26, 2022, incident in Center Township.

Desiree L. Smith, 60, of Orlando, Fla., was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $200 in fines after pleading guilty to forgery and identity theft charges filed by Cranberry Township police following a March 21 incident.

Jennifer Russell, 43, of Belle Vernon, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation and pay $300 in fines after pleading guilty to two felony counts of retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a Dec. 17, 2016, incident.
